The merger of Hogan & Klingenberger (H&K) and Dowling, Aaron & Keeler (DAK) brings together two of the Central Valley’s most respected firms, creating a unique partnership with integrated practices covering the San Joaquin Valley. Effective August 1, 2007, the two firms will operate under the Dowling, Aaron & Keeler name, with offices in Fresno and Bakersfield.
With the addition of four H&K attorneys, Dowling, Aaron & Keeler will now boast 40 attorneys representing a diverse and sophisticated client base. The firm is comprised of top lawyers in various disciplines, including real estate law, litigation, estate planning, healthcare law, general business law, employment law, intellectual property and public agency law.
Michael J. Hogan and Daniel K. Klingenberger are well-known throughout California for their expertise in representing companies in labor and employment law matters. Two of their associates, Paul J. Bauer and David A. Dixon, will also join DAK.
H&K has specialized in representing clients in traditional labor law, labor relations and employment law, as well as providing counsel to clients on preventive solutions. The firm also develops employee handbooks, company policies and provides counsel on day-to-day human resource issues. Mr. Hogan was formerly a senior partner and managing shareholder with Littler Mendelson, where he founded the Fresno office and practiced for more than 28 years.
Mr. Klingenberger, also a former shareholder with Littler Mendelson, has more than 20 years of experience and has devoted his entire legal career to labor and employment law. Klingenberger and Dixon can be contacted at their current Bakersfield office under the Dowling, Aaron & Keeler name while Hogan and Bauer can be contacted at Dowling, Aaron & Keeler in Fresno.
