Michael J. Hogan, a founding partner in the law firm, has represented employers throughout California in all areas of traditional labor law, labor relations, and employment law. Mr. Hogan’s experience includes representing employers in state and federal courts and administrative agencies. He has appeared before the National Labor Relations Board, Agricultural Labor Relations Board, Department of Labor, Labor Commissioner, Department of Fair Employment and Housing, Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, OSHA Appeals Board, and other state and federal administrative agencies.
Mr. Hogan was formerly a senior partner and managing shareholder with Littler Mendelson, where he founded the Fresno office and practiced for more than 28 years. He has extensive experience in counseling employers in preventative matters covering virtually all employment law and labor relations issues.
PROFESSIONAL ACTIVITIES
Mr. Hogan is involved in many business and trade organizations and is a frequent speaker throughout Central California on contemporary labor and employment law topics. He often is quoted in publications regarding significant new developments and cases in the employment arena.
A member of the Bar Association of Fresno County, Mr. Hogan is admitted to practice before all trial and appellate courts of the State of California, all United States District Courts in California and the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals.
COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT
Active in several community charitable organizations, Mr. Hogan often provides pro bono labor and employment legal services to nonprofit organizations.
EDUCATION
Mr. Hogan received both his undergraduate and law degrees from the University of San Francisco where he was a member of the Law Review.
Prior to attending college, Mr. Hogan honorably served in the United States Army, including overseas duty in Vietnam. He is admitted to practice in all California courts.
